Root canal treatment

(also known as endodontic therapy, endodontic treatment, or root canal therapy) is a treatment sequence for the infected pulp of a tooth which results in the elimination of infection and the protection of the decontaminated tooth from future microbial invasion.

Crowns

A crown, sometimes known as dental cap, is a type of dental restoration which completely caps or encircles a tooth or dental implant. Crowns are often needed when a large cavity threatens the ongoing health of a tooth. They are typically bonded to the tooth using dental cement.

Bridges

A bridge is a fixed dental restoration (a fixed dental prosthesis) used to replace one or more missing teeth by joining an artificial tooth definitively to adjacent teeth or dental implants.

Fillings

A tooth filling is a procedure wherein the damaged and decayed part of a tooth is removed and the area is filled with a replacement material to protect against further damage and to restore the tooth’s appearance and function. The replacement material, which is called the fillings, can be made out of gold, silver amalgam, composite resin, glass ionomer or porcelain. Each type of material has its own set of advantages and disadvantages, which have to be weighed along with the patient’s specific considerations, to determine the most appropriate material to be used.

Cleaning / Scaling

Teeth cleaning is part of oral hygiene and involves the removal of dental plaque from teeth with the intention of preventing cavities (dental caries), gingivitis, and periodontal disease.
